$2.5 billion of transactions organised for our members

Automated organisation of your transactions

At Humaniti we have already organised more than $2.5 billion in transactions for our members. This has helped them understand where they are spending, their monthly subscriptions, how their superannuation stacks up, and what their cashflow looks like.

For many of our members, having a simple summary in one spot has removed the anxiety of not knowing where they stood financially, and the feedback has been great. We love being able to help get people organised and plan a better future.

Credit and debit card use on the rise

Research at the RBA shows that Australians now use credit or debit cards to pay for more things than cash. This is a significant milestone, but the trend is only going to continue as both America and Sweden are now at 80% card payments. What does this mean for how we manage our lives, and beyond no longer carrying cash around, how can we use it to our advantage?

Transactions create a digital record of where we are spending our money. A scan through your internet banking can give you a good summary of what is going on, however tools like Humaniti can take it that one step further. Humaniti helps demonstrate where your money is going across all your accounts and allows you to see patterns that can help you manage your finances……. How much are you paying in subscriptions each month?  What is the total of your utility payments in the last year? Are you overspending on non-essential items?

Humaniti can help

At Humaniti we have now categorised more than $200 million dollars of transactions for our Humanitirians, giving them more opportunities to see how much, where and how often they are spending.

More importantly, as a member, you can now decide if you want to do something differently as a result of seeing all your finances in one place.

UPDATE – 20TH SEPTEMBER 2019 – We have now categorised more than $700m for our members!

Purifying 4L of water – every time you answer a Quick Poll

< 1 min read

Like the people at UNICEF, we believe that clean water is a right, not a privilege. That’s why we have made a commitment to contribute to reducing the 2.2 billion people around the world who do not have access to safe drinking water.

For every one-question “Quick Poll” that is answered by one of our members (or “Humanitirians”) we will purify 4 litres of water through UNICEF.

We are proud to announce that we have already purified over 675,000 litres of water and this number will grow dramatically as we launch a range of new Quick Polls for our Humanitirians to answer.

Learning from our “Humanitirians”

< 1 min read

At Humaniti we are always looking to understand how we can continue to improve the platform and ensure we are giving our “Humanitirians” the best (and most useful) experience possible.  So, we decided to use our survey software to ask our members what they thought.

Encouragingly most of our Humanitirians felt we were on the right track, with 80% feeling the portal was useful and 81% saying they would recommend it to a friend.  Great feedback, and we are now building ‘refer a friend’ functionality into our plans.

When we launched Humaniti we felt people would join for different reasons, whether it be the ability to manage their finances, earn money via surveys, or give back to charity.  However, what we are finding is people are joining for one reason and discovering the additional benefits:

I joined as it looked like another great opportunity to receive rewards for my opinions. The expenditure breakdown is also a tool that I was pleasantly surprised by. I didn’t think I had use for it, but it is nice to have a breakdown on where exactly my money is going

I joined Humaniti to access the helpful financial and spending tools. There’s also surveys available to complete to earn a little more spending money on the side or you can donate your earnings to charity! It’s a great tool for every modern day person looking to get their life and finances in order and have fun and earn something back while doing so

We review every comment from our members to see how they can help us improve our community.  There will be more surveys to come, but please feel free contact us at support@humaniti.com any time.

We’re excited to announce our partnership with CoreLogic (RP Data), Australia’s most comprehensive source of property data. CoreLogic now powers our property valuation and tracking features. You can simply add your property or properties through your accounts page in Humaniti and you’ll immediately get a detailed valuation.

Your property value also appears on your dashboard and will be rolled up with your other account balances to give you a great indication of your net worth. In the stats section of the platform you’ll also be able to track how your net worth changes over time… and hopefully see all your hard work paying off as you build a better future!

Partnering Leukodystrophy Australia

< 1 min read

Humaniti is honoured to be able to partner and support Leukodystrophy Australia.

‘Leukodystrophy’ refers to a group of over 40 identified (plus more unidentified) conditions that affect the myelin, or white matter, of the brain and spinal cord, which in turn, impacts the ability of the nervous system to send its signals throughout the body.

Most leukodystrophies occur in childhood, and while developments in genetic and other therapies provide hope for the future, there is currently no cure.

Leukodystrophy Australia exists to provide information, support and advocacy to individuals and families affected by leukodystrophy, to raise awareness of this group of conditions, and to encourage leukodystrophy-related research.

Leukodystrophy Australia receives no Government funding. Instead the organisation relies on the generosity of donors, subscribers, fundraisers and philanthropic organisations to maintain the level of support that we know individuals & families affected by this group of conditions need and deserve. To learn more, feel free to visit www.leuko.org.au

Humaniti will be working to help raise funds and conduct research to support those affected by this rare and terrible condition.

Those interested in supporting this partnership can join Humaniti and donate some of the money they earn on our platform to this worthy cause.

We have launched!

< 1 min read

We are delighted to have launched Humaniti – a personal finance app to help you discover your net worth, understand and track your spending, and earn some money along the way. It’s the place where you can Link, Learn and Earn.

After two years of planning and development, we have created a tool that allows everyday Australians to see their financial position on a simple dashboard, understand their spending, and receive tips and comparisons to get more organised and plan a brighter future. Our members also have the option to earn real dollars along the way by engaging in surveys and polls. Our article on how Humaniti’s personal finance app can help you get a better handle on your personal finances explains how Humaniti works in greater detail.

The response so far has been outstanding, and we have already helped Australians categorise over $180,000,000 in everyday transactions, better understand their net worth, and how to make changes over time.

We also partner with charities and causes who are focussed on helping make the world a better place. It’s part of why we are called Humaniti.
